fuel/VATS question
Can I use my stock fuel line for the return gas, and get a 6AN line for the supply? I'm gunna use the stock fuel pickup in the tank for awhile, with a marlbro 255 lph in-line fuel pump, until i can afford a rock valley tank. it'll be fine, i'll just keep the fuel above 1/2 tank LOL.
the motor being installed is a 98 ls1 outta a camaro. Also, do i need to get that vette fpr/filter, cus i'm thinking i do.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GM-VA...QQcmdZViewItem is this the only module i need to bypass the VATS system, or do i still need to get into the PCM using hptuners?
Once again, thanks for the help guys! Without you, I would be helpless.

if you use the stock supply line make sure you replace the factory rubber line with fuel injection line. a lot higher fuel pressures.
in the swaps i've done i always ran a new high pressure line, and used the stock supply line as my return. i've always used inline pumps with stock fuel tanks, never had a problem all way to 1/4 tank.
on VATS
take a look on my website, www.lt1swap.com look under 62 impala and read i have a page on VATS. there is a simple electronic circuit you can build that will generate the signal to the PCM to enable fuel. the circuit worked on a 1993 LT1 ecm, but the signal is similar on the later models too.
