Default Ignition/ Starter Problem

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted in a while but I've been really busy and haven't even had much time to work on the LS1 S-10 4x4 swap lately. I finally got the headers done and got them on this weekend. I'll have pics. up next week sometime. I had the guy from Indy make them for me and then shipped them to Jethot to have them coated. They are SWEEEET! With the Hurricanes they didn't get shipped to Mississippi they had to go to Arizona so that took and extra week and a half. Anyways, got them on friday night and filled her up with some fluids to start it before we started putting everything back on. We noticed oil leaking from the pan. When we recieved the pan we noticed it was a bit warped from when it was welded and I think when we snugged it up it cracked the pan on the bottom across the weld. I didn't get a chance to take any pictures of that but it's about a 5 inch wide crack long the whole weld. So that put a damper on the mood. We did manage to add the fluids for a bit and get it to turn over and run a couple of times just for self satisfaction. The problem we have now is that we can not get the ignition to start the truck. There is a purple wire that goes from the fuse relay center to the small lug on top of the starter along with the large lug that pulls power from the battery. The ignition will go to run and turn on all the access. but when you go to crank you get nothing. I know there is anti theft on the PCM and you have to resync it but the process I was told is to install the battery go from off to crank, the car will start for a second then stall. The security light will stay on for 10 mins then shut off and you then repeat the process 2 more times. I wasn't able to get that all done but still don't think the wiring is right. I was wondering if any of you guys have any insight as to something that might be not connected right or getting power. The only way we were able to get the truck to run for the couple of seconds it did was by using a bump starter and bypassing the solinoid on the starter. I know the anti theft is kicking in because it will start for a second then shut itself off. I just don't understand why the ignition won't start it for a couple of seconds. Another thing that is weird about the ignition is that when I plugged in the Prediator is said there error, is the ignition on? So there has to be something somewhere that isn't getting the ignition signal. Any insight is great. Thanks a lot guys. By the way it sounds great with the headers even for a couple of seconds. Thanks again.

Chris

When Ign is in start position, you need to check purple wire for 12V if you dont have 12V then check the nutral safty switch or Ign switch. If you do have 12V then starter silinoid is bad.
