I posted this in external engine and got no response.
Does the wiring to the rear O2 sensors on a 1997 F Body pass through the body of the car? My "complete" engine did not come with any wiring to connect the engine harness to the rear sensor.

No. The rear O2 sensor wiring is attached to the transmission wiring. It doesn't go thru the car.

Is it an integral part of the trans harness? I am using a 700r4 so I just left that big round connector alone. Is there like a mini harness that connects to the big round connector that Y's to the trans and the rear O2 sensor?

The engine and trans harness is just one big happy harness. There is no mini harness that separates from the rest of it.
Here's the rear O2 connector for one side (by the starter and knock sensor wiring):

and here's the rear O2 connector for the other side (by the round 4L60E and VSS connectors):

This is a 97 LT1 harness.

Is that O2 connector in the second photo supposed to stretch all the way back to the after cat sensor? Mine won't reach that far. Maybe when I made my custom exhaust I moved the cat farther back than I thought. Thanks.
