Motor is in!!! Fuel choices?
Alright guys, my LS1 is firmly in the car, and I'm ready to start working on fuel supply.
I want to use the stock line for return, and add another fuel line for supply. Is there a kit I can get with -6AN lines(?), and all the fitting to fit it to a 255 lph warlbro in-line pump, and into the vette fpr?
it looks liek all i need is:
fuel pump
lines and fittings
vette fpr?

I don't believe there is a complete kit, but try Street & Performance: www.hotrodlane.cc they sell a 99+ vette regulator and quick disconnect kit which is as close to a kit as you'll find. You'll also need a quick disconnect for the fuel rail (99+) or an S&P fuel rail to frame kit (hardline at rail to braided at frame) Russell also sells these quick disconnects.
Don't know what your running for your fuel pump, but you'll need an intank pump. Are you running a stock or aftermarket tank?

I assume you are using a stock tank and not a fuel cell. You are going to need something to pull the fuel from the tank before it gets to the walbro.
I would use a Carter 6psi high volume pump which is a puller or fabricate an intank pump. 6AN lines are fine for delivery. Don't forget the fuel filter (s) before the pumps.

check this kit out, i am using one on my truck( as with all of our swaps). And there are alot of people very happy with this kit also.

no, this is a 98 camaro fuel rail. please correct me if i'm wrong - but i need the vette fpr/filter so i can plug my return and supply in up there?
well, i wasn't aware that i needed an in-tank pump to supply fuel to the warlbro pump...that's a total bummer. i really can't fork out 1k for a rock valley tank, so i need another solution???

if you go with the corvette filter/reg go buy it at napa or autozonce and save that $100 of BS mark up that they charge you. the fuel system is going to be a big project $$$$ wise. no matter what you do you will spend some big money. the cheapest would be to sump your stock tank $70 (if you do it). mount an external EFI pump such as the A1000 pump $300 then the vette filter/reg set up or a aeromotive 1309 regulator $135. you will then need the lines and fitting which will be another $100. as you see there is no free way of doing it. I have the stock LS1 pump and have thought about building my own tank to fit the pump. if you do some research on the internet you will see that a tank is not that hard to build.
My system works fine and is pretty low buck. I am pulling from a sumped plastic fuel cell but the carter pump ($50)specifications say that it can pull from about two feet meaning than the pump can be two feet lower that the top of the gas line. Once you get the gas to the carter then it can go to the AirTek FI pump ($100) to a 75 psi adjustable return regulator ($75 used on EBAY). The regulator you can mount by the tank with a short return line back to the tank and a single line to your fuel rail.
25ft of 6an braided line will run you $75. Fuel ressure guage and miscellaneous fittings and fuel filter another $100. Figure $400 for the whole deal.

Correct me if I am wrong, but he did say he has a '98 motor (which has supply and return on the fuel rail)
They use a different regulator than the 99+ vette style correct? And supply/return lines right up to the rail. So the vette regulator wouldn't be required for his application?

That should be a more budget way to install your intank pump setup, plus I think you can re-use your stock fuel level sender.

I believe the 97-98 vette rails have this, but I am not sure on the 98 F-body rails.
