How To Start My Car

Hi, I will be putting an 98 ls1 motor into another car. I want to run everthing from the ls1 motor, you know like electronics and everything. How would I go about it with the computer key code deal. I want to start the car without the original key that came with the ls1 car. How do I do that?

There is a VATS simulator circuit you can use until you get your pcu flashed. A cheap circuit you can build was posted here a few months ago, or you can buy one for about $15.00.

Get the PCM re-programed and you will be fine. spertech who is a sponcer can do it it will be easy to keep all of the LS1 stuff. we have all done it. Good luck!

what do u mean when the pcm is flashed? Whats flashed?

You can send the ecm out to have the VATS(vehicle anti theft system)removed when the ecm is flashed(reprogrammed) Meaning you can start the car w/ regular ignition.
