Fuel System

im putting a 99 ls1, into a 72 Chevy Short box. im starting the fuel sytem, ive got the holly 12-920 external fuel pump, and running the Gm corvette fuel filter regulator part# 10299146. which will be mounted in the frame rail, coming from a rear mounted fuel tank with a top supply feed line. im also going to mount a pre filter before the fuel pump recommend by holly. i was wondering if there was any concerness or issues with the set up im going with.

The better setup would be to put in a tank setup for Fuel Injection (FI) with an internal pump. The pump will feed the Corvette FFR which its return line back to the tank, and the tank vented and your done. The last thing is from the outlet of the FFR to the fuel rail. The FFR regulates the pressure to 58psi the LS1 requires.

Again your setup should work if the pump will put out the pressure and volume but the intank pump will run cooler being in the fuel.
