Another 63 SWC vette update
Another 63 SWC vette update For those that are interested...I have uploaded a few more pictures of my project 63 Corvette. The suspension is in, now he is working on finish welding/cleanup. The motor and tranny have been set back 3 inches since these pictures were taken. The transmission tunnel had to be cut/clearanced slightly to accommodate the rubber u-joints (shouldn't be noticed once the new glass and carpet are in). The wheels are a loaner set from the donor GTO. I will go with something offset inboard .5 -1" inch further to clear the fenders and hopefully an inch wider to get a little more rubber under the car.
Since these photos were taken the body has come back off and final firewall mods are being done to accommodate the GTO A/C blower setup and corvette brake booster. Then body prep will begin for paint. The frame has been blasted for final cleanup and paint.
