I called Advanced Adapters a few weeks ago with the same question, and they said no. They said when it was adapted and put together that is was close to 3 ft long...

well... a transaxle is what drives a front wheel drive car where the axle shaft come out of the sides of the transmission, hence the name "transaxle".

what you are talking about is a transfer case. i would not advise using the factory NP321 transfer case as it doesnt like handling much more than about 250 ponies. but if thats what you wanna do then advance adapters has the adapter to mate the 4l65E to your factory transfer case. i believe the 4l65e and the 4l60e and the 700r4 all bolt up the same at the output shaft. but only if you get the four wheel drive versions. on second thought i dont even know if the 4l65e comes in a four wheel version. wasnt it upgraded just for the vette or did they put it in any four wheel drive vehicles. oh well, that's a start.

The question is what are you using this vehicle for? True horse power is horse power but the two engines produce it differently.
Thanks
