Default 4th Gen L98 swap

as you guys know I was planing on swaping the v6 on my 4th gen for a 350 TPI from my 3rd gen z28 (crashed) I know that the L98 engine cant compare to an ls1 but I have no money for anything else. After about 2 months of research I finally decided to go ahead and start the swap I hope that you guys dont mind me posting the details of my project in this forum.

sounds like an interesting swap. Are you doing any performance mods to the L98? I have an 88 IROC and I am selling all of my motor/injection/computer parts. I got a 383, superram and Gen 7 DFI w/dual sync. Everything must go-trying to sell local but I may put some on E-bay. Let me know if you need anything help/parts!

I was going to do this with mine till I found the LS1 doner car . I dont know if the TPI intake will fit under the cowl . I would get a Lt1 intake . (GO to LT1intake.com ) You may could use LT1 accessories if you get an Lt1 balancer . The wiring will depend on what year car your car is .

Things youll need
Lt1kmember
4th gen trans menber for your trans
Lt1 motor mounts youll also need to strap each side of the motor down becouse you can only use 2 of the three bolt in the block

In case you haven't seen it, LS1Tech does have a SBC & BBC section where some swaps like yours are already completed.
