How to mate a 93/97 LT1 T56 on to a GEN 1 block
I would think I just need a flywheel, I don't want to have to change bellhousings, or my H/Clutch stock set up. Has it been done, and do I have to change those parts or not?? I'm hoping noT..
I'm trying to bolt it up to a 80 corvette. Thanks all

I've seen it done on a 2-piece rear main seal crankshaft before. It was either a McLeod Flywheel, or a Centerforce - don't remember exact mfgr. It has to be thicker as the LT1's all had pull-style clutches. You will need to use a LT1-style clutch also, if you didn't know.
Not sure on the hyd. setup on the 80 vettes, it should work but may need some modifying.

Youll need all the lt1 stuff. I used the centerforce flywheel counterbalanced for a 400 since its going with a 383. Make sure you get it balanced to match your crank/dampener though.
