LS1 in Solstice
Any idea on how much work would be involved in swapping out the 2.4L Ecotec that's in there for an LS1? I know Mallett Cars just did an LS2 swap and they only had to beef up the transmission, other then that it handled the load.
I would guess they did some subframe mods but the Solstice/Sky are rather tall shouldered cars so the LS1/2/6 might fit under their hoods without dropping the front subframe.
if its an easy install then I'd be in the market for a Solstice/Sky for sure.... but I wonder what their engien bays look like without the Ecotoec motor.

There's been lots of hype about the solstice, but in my mind, it doesn't have much to offer me. With an LSX motor it would have the power covered, but the styling and size doesn't appeal to me.

345s would look interesting on a car that small.
