It is official, I have the LS1 from a 2000 Corvette
It is official It is now official. I have the LS1 from a 2000 Corvette, just awaiting delivery. So I figure now is a good time to officially announce my plans for this engine. I figure since I need the block remachined anyways I'll be boring and stroking it to accomodate more horsepower and torque. To what specs I do not yet know. This engine will for sure be driving a twin turbo set up with a unique design for the intercooler that I will keep a secret until it is done...Or unless you ask nicely.
A little bit more about me. I am 18, currently working at my dads Saab shop as, you guessed it, a Saab technician. My dad's into old school flathead Ford, and is trying to get me into it. I told him hell no, not until I own a car that will scare the **** out of me on acceleration everytime i step on the gas, hence my being here. I'm looking to start up my own shop for engine building, restoration, installing unique and different mods. Was hoping to use my Camaro once it was done to put the business name out, but that'll be a few years. I've been obsessed with F-body Camaros ever since I got mine, just now getting into some serious serious mods. So any help and advice you feel the need to give me I will welcome it, as well as criticism. Hope to see a few of you on the track someday.
