Exhaust on 3RD gen LS1
I am in the process of planning an LS1 swap into my third gen firebird. Unfortunately, I need to have cats on the system. If I run the factory 4th gen exhause I understand there will be clearance issues with the passenger side floor pan. Does anyone here have any pictures of the factory 4th gen exhauset that I can use for comparison.
Any thoughts os suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This may be a little restrictive for a modified engine, but I feel for the base (stock) LS1 engine it is just fine.
As I modify the engine, I will eventually make a dual exhaust with the pipes exiting before the rear tires.
I'll take some pics and put them on my website tonite.
Ok the pics are on the website

Again I appreciate your help and insight.
this should get you there.... Thunder ....exhaust link
On my car the part of the y pipe that goes directly under the tranny is the lowest part.
The setup in the pics is my first attempt... it has woked well for the past 2 years. I am in the process of designing a new trans. mount, which will allow the exhaust to run differently also.
The reason I have asuch a big trans mount is because all 4 bolts for the factory trans mount broke off in the framewhen the old engine was removed.
