ls1 in a grand national?
Re: ls1 in a grand national? ditto, the LS1 is a sweet motor dont get me wrong, but the GN motor is as good.
Its only worth swaping into a car that does not have a good/reliable motor if your going to do a swap like this.
S10's, RX7's, 260/280 Z's, old hotrods, (32 fords, ect..), jeeps, ******, are the type of vehicle to swap it into.(imho) Or other large vehicles are are underpowered stock.

Re: ls1 in a grand national? My track numbers (before ported heads) using street tires and full exhaust are listed in my signature. I agree that if you have a good GN motor that it should stay in there, however, I personally guarantee that the set-up below sounds 1000 times more wicked than the Turbo motor when I have any significant amount of throttle applied (even though they may be faster!), just ask anyone who has personally auditioned it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
