Default ??? for John B and whoever else

I was going to send this directly to John B but decided there may be others looking for answers to similar questions and posted here.

John I noticed that you recently swapped to 4.10's and it seems your happy with the change. What posi unit did you go with? Stock axles or performance?

How is the Z06 clutch holding up with the power your now making? Are you thinking about a clutch upgrade?

How do you like the Pro 5.0 shifter?

Great job on the swap! I only wish I had started my project when you did so I could now be driving it instead of working on it.

Thank goodness I only had street tires.....the Z06 clutch w/424 RWHP and sticky tires spells disaster <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> I am reviewing my options for another clutch as we speak.

I'd highly recommend it!

Good luck with your swap!

Thanks for the info every little bit helps. I do have the 8.5 10 bolt as you mentioned but I will probably be rebuilding another one and leaving my stock 3.08 disk brake low mileage rear alone for use on another project in the future. I have a 9-inch but think it is probably overkill for this application. I'll save it for my 455 TA project some day. I'm real curious about what clutch your going to use, seems to be quite a few options out there with good and bad with each. I'd like to do the clutch only once and it seems you car gets about the same use I plan for mine.

Thanks again for the info and great job!
