Default Accelerator Position Sensor???

Hey guys,
I am in the process of swapping a vette ls1 in my 95 k2500. I'm wondering about this APP sensor and the throttle acuator control module. If I am going to stay with a fly by wire setup will I have to get these parts. Also, can adapt that APP sensor to an existing pedal, or do I have to have the vette pedal. Thanks, oh does anyone happen to know part numbers on these?

Default Re: Accelerator Position Sensor???

You will need a Vette pedal and ETC controller. There is a wiring harness that goes between the pedal and controller. It is very simple to build. The controller plugs into a Vette engine harness and feeds inputs to the PCM.

The Vette pedal will have to be modified to fit your truck. I used the upper part and electronics from the Vette pedal, and the pad and rod from my original pedal to build mine.
