Polturgiest,

I didn't have any problems with hot air, but then I only drove that set-up from Oct 01 to March 02 when I pulled the engine. I plan on putting the battery in the trunk and building a cold air box for the donaldson intake I now have.

Very nice setup. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

1 question, where you have the air filter aren't you having problems with pulling in hot air from the engine compartment? I've been trying to figure out what I'm going to do for the LT1 going into my El Camino and can't figure out an easy fix yet for cool air.

Me like! How does it run? Did you have ride height issues with the lighter block?

Ran great, funny you should ask about the ride height. I have eibach 1.x lowering springs and "compensated" for the aluminum block by cutting a coil while I was doing the front disk conversion, before I had the engine in the car. Bad idea, dropped it so much the front cross member was less that 2 inches off the ground. The pics of it in the drive way are from this stance. I added spacers under the springs and love the stance, though I will get new springs sometime.
