They bolt to the four holes on the LS1 block using flathead screws and then allow you to bolt a standard 3 bolt SBC mount to them.
They would not work at all on our 91 Z28. Custom mounts was the way to go. On the other hand, they would probably work on a street rod application and probably some cars.

We used the S&P plates on my 82 Blazer with the stock F-body brackets. We did have to mildly massage the S&P plates, and the a/c bracket, but it does work...
