check the idle air controller located on the TB, that will effect if it wont idle, that or you could have a vacuum leak, and it is causing it not to idle.

Hello everyone, I got my LS1 started for the FIRST TIME last night, after slaving away in the garage from sunup to sundown, she sure sounds mean with those S&P open headers. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I have waaaay to many questions now, and I'll ask them as I come to them, but heres the first one. Vats is programmed out of of my PCM, but the engine will not remain running at idle, I have to keep feeding it gas for it to run. Whats the deal? All of my sensors seem to be hooked up, I was told that my hypertech pump will deliver the 58 psi needed. Anyone have any ideas?

Yeah it does sound like a vacuum leak. Did you get the S&P EGR block off plate. Mine always comes loose and causes a huge vacuum leak. Check it.
