First fitting! The moment I've been waiting for Finally set the LS1 in place today. Wish I could report a perfect fit, but no deal. I am using adapter plates from EBay, similar to S&P and the FAQ templates. Tried the mounts used with the 350 I pulled out, then got the Sealed Pro mounts recommended with the plates. Still off by quite a bit. Good news is, the Sealed Pro mounts have enough meat to drill some new holes. I believe that will work. Check my progress at the link in my sig.
Even though things did not work as I hoped, progess was made and now I know some of the challenges ahead. Onward!
