ok got about a few questions here

what is the difference in the 6 liter block and the f-body ls1 block beside the alum vs cast

are there any differences in stroke and bore stuff in that nature

what is the bore and stroke of the 6 liter

will a ls1 382 stroker kit fit the 6 liter (6 liter converts to 366 cid)

will a 700r4 bolt the the 6 liter or the ls1

i was goin to build a lt1 but if i can get this engine for a dirt price im goin with it instead
any help will be a great help or if you know of a website that has this info please post it

First off I will say I don't know the answers to any of your 6 liter questions. I do know about the 700r4. I am about to install my ls1 into my chevy that already has a 700r4. After reading into things on this board I found the address to yank converters. They make a flexplate with a spacer for $150. I don't think I will ever buy from them again though. It came to my door looking very sorry. To get the right hole pattern they drilled new holes right below some existing holes to make it fit one more application. I would buy it from Street and performance or GM. You can search around for the part numbers and websites. That's about all I know of your list. Hope it helps.......

thanks i just found out that ther is a flexplate that you can run dotn remember the part number and just leave out the top bolt on the tranny

The 6.0 uses the same crank and rods as the ls1, it just has a bore of 4.00 instead of 3.90. The lunati 4.0 inch crank will work, and if you bore it over .030 and get custom pistons and some good rods you could easily have a 408!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
