Is it cracked or something? Spun bearing? Sounds a little too good to me....

it it runns 100% that's a great deal. I would say it's to good to be true. Most engine trans combos on ebay are in the 3500-6000 range and aren't nearly that new.

The guy I getting it from works at body shop and this is how much he paid for it out of a wrecked Firehawk. The guy is a good friend so I think it is legit. I just didn't know how much the drivetrains were going for beins I just started this adventure. I was running an old school setup but recent events has got me thinking in another direction.

I just paid $2600 for a new, no miles 2000 Corvette LS1, and I think I got a good deal. Sounds like you have a screaming deal on your hands!

Re: 2002 LS1 engine/trans Price???
I just received a 2001 LS1 with a T56 that only had 6500 miles on it and I paid $4,550 for it. I think this was a great deal because I have been seeing LS1s alone go for that much.
The 2001/2 will have the LS6 intake as well, so I would say this is a great deal!
FYI – this engine and transmission is going in my 96 Impala SS. I started the swap this weekend.
