Question? Would all my front accessories(air-compressor,power-steering,alternator,etc...)from my 1996 4.3 Vortech V-6 bolt up to my <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> LS1? And with which dampner pulley? The F-body or Corvette dampner? Also, would my 4L60E from my V-6 be usable(bolt-up) to my LS1? Anyone ever try this? Thanks in advance. Transmission OK. For the engine accessories you would be better to go with the LS1. Use your exhaust manifolds/headers from the truck.

Back to topic, look a the thread listing all of the conversions and email some of those guys I don't think they check the forum every day...

I am converting a 1996 full-size C/K 1500,(fleetside/lowered) 4.3 Vortec V-6/4L60E to a 2001 Camaro SS LS1/4L60E combo. Just curious about whether or not the front accessories were interchangable? Would the bolt patterns on the cylinder heads/block be the same? Thanks again, Ed

The LS1 uses entirely different bracketry...sorry won't work.
