Default Fuel pump sitting in tank for 2 years, still good?

I have a walbro 255lph pump that has been sitting in my project car for about 2 years. It was brand new then, will it still be OK? Or will there be a nasty varnish build up that I will have to get rid of?

If its sealed then there shouldnt be a problem, if its got fuel in it it should be good, give it a whirl.

If it had been used and dried out then rust to the inside of the pump may of been an issue. But in your case you may be fine, either way you cant return it so might as well try it and see how you go.
