67 hardtop

67 hardtop from another new guy wants to know has anyone fitted agen 3 &4l60e to a 67 coupe chevelle i intend to do this and like any information that would make it go easy for me being in australia parts & correct info are hard to get all info welcome .am also new to computors so hope i am doing this right . thanks from aussie craig

Sounds cool. My dad had a 67 chevelle hardtop but i've never seen anyone put an LS in one. But im sure people have. You should check out the conversions & hybrids forum, they could give you some info there.

There is a '65 Chevelle project at the S&P site

Go to past projects there and check it out. There is also a 70 Chevlle swap there. They sell headers for an LS1 Chevelle, so they may have mroe info still. I have also seen one in a '66 El Camino and that should be pretty similar. It would be different than a Camaro swap as the Chevelle is a full framed car vs the sub frame in the Camaro. I believe you have more room in the Chevelle, which should make it easier.
