Do I have to do anything with the interior besides swapping pedal assemblies?

Can I just "unplug" my V6 engine harness and "plug in" the V8 engine harness or is there splicing involved?

I would just swap the hard lines over from the V8 car.

If your car is auto and the donor is auto then all u need to change in the interior is pedals and gauge cluster.

No, it is recommended that you use the engine wiring harness from the V8 along with the computer. the only wire you need to splice in is already mentioned in previous posts.

It's mentioned once but the way it is explained doesn't make any sense at all. The explanation has some of the worst sentence fragmentation I have ever seen... Could somebody please explain it more clearly?

How do you think I found this thread? All I want is the wiring info on the previous page to be more clearly explained. The info is here but it doesn't make sense.

you will also need to reconfigure the pins on the computer due to the under hood harness that goes to the underhood relay box and the plugs that go under he dash is all different.

I did the v6 to ls1 conversion in my 96 firebird and it was some work unless you get a aftermarket pcm harness. I converted my own 2000 harness myself and it wasnt that bad. Looks more intemmidating then what it really is. If you need any info i will send it your way pm me.
