Should be shipping in a couple weeks. They are designed for the stock steering configuration. The chevelle versions should be shipping the first of Jan.

I never read they work with stock steering, you have to use thier engine mount plates however. I wonder how close they are to the S&P ones.

They def. look like they'll clear the stock steering. They're nearly identical to the passenger side pacesetters, and they'd clear very well. Hopefully they won't be too pricey, i'd love to upgrade to these sometime in the future. Of course, if i'm gonna upgrade, might as well use tyler's.. sigh.. i'm seeing dollar signs....

Tylers are custom made, and you should really have a engine combo that will benefit from the style headers, stepped tubes,TRI-Y design, ATS is building, I talked with him, and I don't think my set up justifies a set of ATS headers, Hell ya there a work of art and I'd love to pop my hood and hear peoples response when they see them....BUT the price,

Brian, can you throw up a pic of the plates from ATS??

$500 aint bad if they fit anda re atleast 1 3/4" headers. I paid $300 for my pace setters and then had to modify them.

Ya know, that is why we make small tube sets for smaller displacement engine builds. Every engine package can and will benifit from our type of header.... and it makes all the power where you need it too.... everywhere under the curve. That is something that the conventional 4-1 design wont give you.

In reality, you get what you pay for. Our headers, even at the cost we offer them at, is a bargain considering that it would cost you above $3k+ to have the same thing built in your chassis.

Chicane, i think what he was trying to say was despite that they would give a gain the hp/$ dosent make enough sence with his application. If/when i build up a big inch n/a ls1 you guys will be on my list of parts as your work is absolutely top notch.

Back to the hooker headers, summit has the pn's up however i couldnt find the coated ones, anyone have that part #? Also it says theyre expected to ship on 1/10

Tom, I completely understand and have talked to Tyler about them, there still on my list of thinks "wanted" but theres still other things needed, maybe a smaller tube mild steel set I might be able to afford, but I need plates and other stuff first!!
