Default fox ls1 swap. anyone use Fbody long tubes?

Since they are designed to clear the auto trans and bolt right in, will these work? Or will I have steering shaft issues? The motor is still in the car, just thinking ahead for possible hurdles ill have to overcome.

Where you'll have issues depends on which headers you choose. They're all a bit different, but so far every one I've test fit has had clearance issues. Haven't found one header that clears as-is.

ok thanks. Do you think a FMS shorty header w/ an ls1 flange would fit ok? THis way I have access to the trans much easier, plus I think it may bolt right in (aside from flange)

I actually want to try a set of MAC's for an F-body. I think they'd be pretty close to fitting. Just can't find a set locally ..

I fit a set of pacesetters, and they ALMOST fit without any issues. Just need to reroute a couple pipes, and set the motor down in the frame a little lower.

Where is there fitiment issues with normal Fbody headers on the Fox-bodies? I wonder how a set of Hawks Thirdgen Longtubes would fit. Although it would be an expensive trial and error. I would offer mine to try a fit if I wasnt too lazy to take them off.
