Part number for oil pressure sensor fitting? I need the part number for this fitting since I want to get rid of my factory oil cooler hardware. this part would work out perfect since I'm going to use an autometer sending unit there anyway. If anyone wants to trade me one for my oil cooler fitting and lines let me know. This is what it looks like, I'm sure most of you LS1 guys have them.

just got what I thought was this part on GMparts direct and it's the wrong one. The one they sent me was a solid "oil pan cover" or so it's called. What I need is the one that has the fitting for the sensor. Is it a corvette only part or is it camaro also. Thants what the parts guy at my local dealership claimed it was from and where I got the PN from. The reason for all this is I have an autometer oil pressure gauge and I want to run the sending unit from there. Is there any way to run it from the other sending unit location on the back of the motor, or does the PCM need that one? Either way if anyone has that part on their oil pan that you want to get rid of, or have a camaro with it, let me know the year.
I have been told that the ECU does not need a signal for oil pressure, so you can use the port at the back of the intake manifold. You can also drill the fitting you have and use a 1/8 npt tap to thread it. Use a drill bit the same size as the existing hole in the fitting to drill it the rest of the way through, then use the tap.
