Default How to tell the difference between 98 and 99+ interior harness?

Like the title says.

My understanding is that 98 is pretty much a one-off deal so far as the harnesses go.

I've got an interior harness but it's up in the air as to whether it came from a 98 or a 99.

Are there differences so far as the interior harnesses go, and if so is there an easy way to tell which year harness I've got?

If you look at the connectors that go behind the passenger kick panel. (the ones that the engine harness plug into). The 98 will have three connectors, a blue 10 way, a White 10 way, and a white 8 way. The 99-02 harnesses will only have the two connectors, A Blue and a White 10 way.

Thanks; the harness is not in a car so it took some digging to find the appropriate connectors.

I do have a blue and a white 10-way connector and no white 8-way ... but a couple of inches closer to the BCM in the harness is a black 8-way connector. Is that used for something completely different in the 99+ harnesses, or would that just be a matter me having a 98 harness that happens to have a black connector for some reason?

There is a black 8 way connector that is probably six inches from the blue and the white connector. That connector is on the 98's and the 99-02. It plugs into another harness that goes to the passenger door.
