Updates to my 1st Gen Swap
I ordered the motor mount adapters from Trans-Dapt, since I seen them in one of the latest Hot-Rod Magazines I thought I'd try them out. They havn't arrived yet, but will hopefully soon (ordered right before x-mas). I'm sure they are similiar to the S+P style and similiarly priced. When they arrive I'll be able to set the motor in the car and see how my firewall clearance is, etc...
I decided to go with a good fuel system. Its going to be pricey, but since mine is forced induction, this is something I want to do right the first time. On monday I will be ordering the Aeromotive A1000 Pump and accessories for the complete fuel system. Its rated for 800hp on forced induction motors, probably can go slightly more, but it will also have meth. injection. (just in case) I at first wanted to get a new fuel tank and weld on a sump, but I have decided that a fuel cell would better suite what I'm doing and involve less fabricating. I'm going to check out a few cars this weekend with fuel cells and decide which style. I want to do an aluminum 15 gallon tank though as I think it may be a little safer than plastic.
There was a slight change of plans for initial transmission selection. I have a LT1 T56 that I can convert over. But I also have a built TH-350 with a transbrake and 4000 stall converter. Being that this is a turbo setup, I would like to "test" it with an automatic. Once I have my fun (read: timeslips) the T56 will go in. It also will take a small load off my shoulders as the TH-350 is very easy to install in my car.

Still need to notch the oil pan, may do that next weekend. It might take a little extra time to actually set the motor in the car, as I'm building 3 of my cars up at the same time. Its hitting me hard in the time dept.
I'll post some pics of the new wiring harness attached to my engine (its all at work). We'll have some good car-**** pics soon.
The Harness is really nice.I think I'm more excited about the turbo kit than the actual LS1 swap.
Although I'm sad that my fuel system will cost more than my first motor, lol.Edit: Here's a small pic of the Victim.
