Changing the spark plugs will be a breeze on that car.

DAMN!!! BIG sound from a little car! What are you using for headers and exhaust? Did you have any tunnel interference problems with the 4L60e tranny?
Ken

From the sound, everyone thinks it's got a big block in it. Headers are 1 7/8" diameter and were custom made by a co-worker. Rest of the exhaust is only 3 feet long , consists of a 3" x-pipe and 2 small 2 chamber Flowmasters. As far a tunnel interference, I had to "massage" the top of the tunnel a bit for the LS1 bellhousing bolt that is at 12 o'clock, everything else was fine. I am running a 4l60E FWIW.

You know that sounds better than my '72 Vega did with a glass pack on the old 4 cyl that I drove across country back in '81!

That is a sweet looking car.........
I am in the process of myself putting a LSx motor in my 1975 Vega..... you are a little further along than I am though :-)

One Question, what did you use for a pan, F body with some mods for the inner tie rod ends..... That is where I am at now, darn Vega specific stuff

Rock_Daddy- I used a modified F-body pan. Don't have any pics of the pan off the motor. I will see if I can take some of it in the car and post them.

Glock36- Thanks, They are custom made 1 7/8" headers. Clearance is ~4" right now, the oil pan is the lowest part on the motor.
