Wiring and programming for T56
Wiring and programming for T56 I got my swap up and running. Went from an A4 that came with the car to a T56. I've got the two jumpers in the shifter harness to let it crank and now I'm adding the clutch pedal wiring.
Cruise is straight forward, NC switch in-line with the cruise brake switch. My reverse lockout is hooked up, I just need to signal the PCM when the clutch is in. I've go the three volume service manual and it's pretty cryptic and hard to find info. Add in that the V6 was setup different and it's really hard to find.
Main question, is the clutch position input 12v or ground? In addition, when I get the PCM changed from auto to T56, do I still need to worry about the P/N switch? IE, do I need the CPS wired in AND another clutch switch wired to the P/N switch?

my 99 TA was an A4, after converting it to a T56 it ran fine w/ the A4 programming. only thing you'll have is SES lights for the tranny. All I have hooked up to the tranny is the speedo and a wire to my brake pedal to activate the reverse lockout. some day i'll hook up my backup lights.
