Been a while...Time for an update...
Renegade Hybrids is definitely doing the 'box on this project. They were very interested and enthusiastic when I contacted them and seemed to have a good handle on what it would take to get it right. Hooray for experienced professionals, lol!
Looking into other LSx engines as well now...LS2/LS6 are big possibilities.
Also may have found my donor car (finally!!). I'll keep you posted!

This is going to be a cool *** project. I hope your not over 6ft or 180lbs cuz you wont be able to drive the car when your done, LOL! Definately a cool project though. Finally a real engine in that car.

I'm short enough, but I'll have to lose some weight, lol!
No problem, if I get the donor I'm looking at now, all the sanding it needs alone will lose me 40lbs or so, lol!
