Default Hooker Chevelle LTs

Hooker has released their LS1 headers for the chevelle -

hok-2289hkr - $495
hok-12611hkr - $71 (mounts)

When someone tries these, please give us an update!

Ya, saw those too. I picked up a set of Hooker Super Comps for a Camaro... I'm going to see how well they fit. One Hooker tech says no chance, the other one I talked to which is supposed to the be the "Hooker header guru" said "All I can say is that they should fit"

495 is for non coated btw.

whats amazing is they released them for the chevelle before releasing them for the thirdgen...... theres 10 times more thirdgen LS1s then chevelle LS1s out there...... lol

lol, i wont debate that...

i wouldnt mind having a 69 chevelle convertible myself....
a nice metallic dark blue... white leather interior that would be hell to keep clean... oooh yea.... *drool*

Anyone know the position of the mounts? BRP, S&P? or which oil pan is required?

I can only assume the Hooker mounts would place the engine like BRP. If Hooker does not offer a modded oilpan, then I doubt their mounts require it

Does anyone know if these fit all a-body's or only chevelle's ? Im thinking my olds will probably end up with a set of these if they fit well on chevelles as i am pretty sure the frame should almost identicall.

Who offers a good swap pan? I am using a truck engine, and doubt it will clear..?

S&P, BRP, ATS, Hooker, etc are all motor mount kits... All bolt into factory holes except for BRP maybe one other...

In order of pimp/bling/quality factor.... ATS, Hooker, S&P, BRP.
