Default what else do i keep?

I bought a (slightly bent) '99 Z28 camaro to get the drivetrain for my swap. I'm currently in the process of removing the engine & transmission now, I'm also stripping the car of any good parts, and will sell off all that i don't need.

what parts, other than engine/trans, related sensors, wiring harness & computer should i keep?

i'll be putting the motor/trans in a '86 RX7.

I think I'd save anyhting at the fuel tank, the harness & connectors back there, maybe even the evap cannister and that rollover vent thing. I also hang on to long runs of good solid wiring harness, with all the projects I have it seems like I always need a piece of wire or a connector of some kind. I have a "junk wiring box" that I keep.

thanks for the reply.

i've debated aboout the fuel tank a little. i know the stock RX7 tank & pump can be used, and upgraded to an aftermarket pump just the same as an F-body.

the whole wiring harness is being kept for now... i agree, it's cheap insurance if i need some part of it. plus i still have all the relays, etc...

You might look at the pedal assembly and other linkages. Some other things to consider are the radiator and fans, any extra metric bolts and nuts, those things are expen$ive, radiator and heater hoses in case they might fit and any fuel lines and fittings. If you need the Catalytic converters for emmissions testing be sure and keep those.

On my swap I had to decide between having a custom harness made and having the F-Body harness modified. I ended up selling the Engine harness, Engine compartment harness and body harness for enough to make up the difference between a custom harness and modifying my stock one.

Some things you can hang onto and sell them after if you don't use them.
