Push-button gearshift for powerglide?
Any help would be much appreciated.
OZ
I am not happy with using a conventional gearshift and I am wondering if there is a pushbutton gearshift available for a powerglide or even a system similar to clicktronic that could be mounted on the handlebars?
I am currently toying with the idea of using waterproof microswitches if all else fails. Do you guys feel that it would work successfully or not?
I would appreciate any input whatsoever.
Thanks in advance.

I can't thank you enough for the info.
I have spent literally hundreds of hours searching the net for the info you gave me.
I am such a dumbarse for not asking the question on the LS1 forum before.
Kindest regards,
A grateful Oztriker.

He has turned it into a 4 seater as well with a much meaner rear wing.
One of the biggest bugbears I have had all along was the gearshift and thanks to ACW
that seems to be solved. There is also a strong possibility that it can be mounted as a paddleshift on the handlebars, and with a 2/10ths of a sec. change time, I am laughing.Again, thanks you guys for all your help and interest in the past and no doubt I am not finished needing your assistance even yet.
