FBW harness questions

FBW harness questions I have a 2005 5.3L (L33) and am trying to use the factory harness for a swap into a 66 Chevelle. I have two questions that I hope someone more experienced can help with.
1. There is a module taped to the battery ground cable, that has a 10 pin plug. Into that plug are two wires from the alternator, ground, power, a large purple wire to the ECM, and then a blue and an orange/blk wire that go to the 14 pin black plug (that I believe goes to the interior) Is this a VATS module? Do I need this to control something important?
2. From the TAC module, there are three wires (dk blue, grey, Grey/blk) that lead to/from the 14 pin black plug. Does anyone know if these are the wires for the cruise control, and if so what each is responsible for?
Any insight into these issues will be greatly appreciated.
