If you stab the gas it usally dies shortly after, its idling at 600rpm there though. I dont know if thats to low for the 6.0 I've read that most people idle their MS3 at around 700+

Wong,
Where did you get your engine mounts? Do you use JCI mounts? I am doing an LS1 Z swap as well but I've made my own mounts. I used the stock SS C5 headers and modified them to fit into the Z. I have my engine sits very far back and low. You can check it out at the link below. Hopefully I can get it started tonight when I get home. Good luck with the Z.

We welded on some universal ones and made them fit. I was actually looking at your setup thinking we should go that route till we found the universal ones and decided do those.

Good to see more LS1 Z's hitting the road ;D, I'm wondering if I'm the first and only LQ9 Z though

Wong,
Please document your project also. I am interested in seeing your oil pan, exhaust headers, engine mounts, transmission mount ..etc.. You got a nice deal on the LQ9 engine. I am going to start looking for another LS1 engine soon for my other Z.

Vinh

What headers are you using? And what size are the primaries. I am trying to find some 1 7/8" headers for my 260Z. I know johns cars has 1 5/8 but I would prefer the 1 7/8 if i can find them.
