4l80e shifting When I'm driving down the hiway and get to overdrive, when I let off the gas then get back on, the tranny will come out of OD then quickly shift back in, or perhaps the TC is unlocking and locking, not sure. Is this normal, I have no other experience with this tranny except in the jeep, and it's been in for about 1 month.
The PCM is set for 3.73 gears and no idea on tire size, it was programmed before I bought it and the motor/tranny. I'm running 4.10's and 37" tires. Otherwise the tranny shifts fine between all gears.

It's more than likly the 4.10's with 37'' tires causing it to downshift 4 to 3 looking for better gearing. I don't know if you reprogram the PCM for tire size and gears if that would help.
