Anyone using Painless LS1 EFI harness ?

Almost ready to fire this up for the 1st tjme, gonna have a lot of codes. What to do? I want to run a check engine light so I'll need to delete these un-used functions, ie; rear O2 sensors, EGR, EVAP etc. I am a bit of a newbie here, and would appreciate any help I can get with this. Probably going to need to find a local tuner, any recommendations in So. Cal.

You can either go to a local tuner shop or find a copy of something like ls1edit or efilive and just do it yourself.

I have heard deleting un-used functions from the PCM can have negative effects on other operating functions, and that using translators or other devices to "trick" the computer is a better solution. Any ideas about this? Thanks, Mark
