Will a 6.0L water pump work with vette or F-body acc. drives in a 1st gen f body?

 

No, the spacing out from the block is different between all the setups, f-body, vette, truck5.3/6.0...
You need the correct water pump for the accesories, if you have it all, toss it on and youll see...

The vette is the closest to the block, then fbody, then truck sticks out the furthest...

 

and the radiator hose neck sticks straight up on the truck ones and will hit the throttle body on a ls1 intake.

 

This would have been nice info a month ago... guess I looked in teh wrong places. I think easiest will be using truck acc, and a carb style intake....

 

Im doing the same on mine right now...(carb intake, truck accesories, only because they came with the motor, id rather have f-body or vette to tuck them closer to the motor)

 

Which intake did you go with? Elbow I assume?
