i've got a 65 vette...
The question is....before I dive in... do you all think I could get the motor low enough and in the correct using the plates that convert ls1 to sbc mounts or should I just fab?
Also.. when it comes to transmissions..... would you use either a 6spd from an ls car and cut the floor.. or use the Keisler bellhousing for an ls1 with the 5spd with the modified tailshaft to fit the shifter hole in a c2?
any input is appreciated.. I doubt I will turn back.. I just want to be somewhat cost affective(especially in regards to the transmission)...
