Default 6.0 LQ4 to LQ9 Truck Conversion Question??

Hey guys new member, awesome board. Got a 2001 Silverado 2500HD 6.0 LQ4, got oil issues, failing leak down test. Instead of rebuild, GM Performance has new LQ9's. Will every thing match up, especially ECU and electronics? Any issues I should address before this is attempted. Will be bolted to a freshly rebuilt and upgraded 4L80E. Will it cause any DTC's? Any info greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has a fresh LQ9 for sale, let me know.
PS. Tryed the sister site www.truckperformance.net won't come up, so I came to you guys.

My understanding is that the only difference between the two motors is the compression ration due to the LQ9 having flattop pistons and the LQ4 having slightly dished ones. I believe it works out to about 1/2 a point difference and should not even require a different pcm tune. Everything else should be the same.
