Default two 99 LS1 4l60E wiring questions

Ok guys... two questions for you. First is about the PNP wiring. Second is about TCC wiring.

First question... I found the orange/black PNP wire, but from what I have read this wire comes from the Camaro/Firebird shifter and not from inside the tranny. Is this the case? I am trying to wire up a remote starter and I need to have a neutral safety switch that grounds to allow the starter to work. I guess I can just ground the wire to the body, but I would rather do it right if possible.

Next question... to wire the TCC to the brake... the wire needs to supply 12 volts when the brake is NOT pressed, and 0 volts when the brake is pressed? Is this correct?

Yep, the PNP wire goes to the column on the camaros. What are you putting it in? your car might have a PNP switch already. If not you can install one to make it work correctly.

Yes that is correct.
