LS1 miata facts plz?
ok me and a buddy got into an argument about the ls1/mazda miata swap, has anyone on here done this and does anyone know the weight distribution after the swap. he thinks it would be way off cause of the v8 but im thinking they would use the havy rear to even it out so somoene plz lemme know hehe

My car weighed in at 2640lbs. with a full tank of fuel and trunck loaded with tools. I made 384rwhp/382rwtq. I moved the engine back 2" into the firewall for better weight distribution. It di help....but how much. Most miata are 50/50 and with the 302 setup they'are 53/47 front to back...so I am hoping I am right in the middle or better. Most miata stock weigh in around 2400lbs. pending there options.
I am currently building a new ls6 block and headed 383, and hoping for over 400 plus rwhp/rwtq.
