68 lemans please help I am trying to finish up my 6.0/4l80e in my 68 lemans convertible. I am down to hooking up the big pink wire to the pcm, that needs to be hot with the key on. The problem is I have a wire thats hot with the key on then it's not when I turn over to crank but another one is. I tried hooking the two wires together and that made the wires hot to the touch. Is there something I can put in the wire to stop any feedback between the wires? Thanks for your help. Jim

Theres 2 pink wires that go to your computer that need to be hot in run and start right? One would go to the ECM 1 10A fuse and the other to IGN 0 10A fuse right? What about using the pink wire that used to go to your coil, just remove the balast resistor so it has the full 12V. You might be able to put diodes in the two wires that you were thinking of using but why are you worried about feedback, do those power something else too? The best way would be to look for the wire that comes off your ignition that used to power your coil, that will be hot in run and start.

I had the diode idea a week ago, but I can't find them. The orange wire is to go to a constant 12 volts[according to SPEARTECH he made the harness]. Ineed nothing eles from the wires but to power my pcm.
