What about making acc. brackets for S10 swap? Considering the cost of locating C5 'vette accessories for swaps in S10s, what about making brackets? I've looked over at John B's Monte swap page here and thought about making myself a high mount A/C bracket. What about making one for the power steering pump and alternator?
What would be the downside to doing this and what would be the preferred material to make these from? I've got CAD and a family friend who is a machinist.

I have EVERYTHING you need to run the Corvette main belt except the power steering pulley and the crank pulley FOR SALE CHEAP. That's the alternator, PS pump and resevoir, bracket, idler assy and bolts. All genuine GM parts. GM spends millions of dollars and hours developing and testing it's parts - IMO the only way to go if you want reliability at an affordable price. Save yourself some headaches and use as much OEM stuff as you can!

I like the idea of building your own brackets, and I may end up going this route myself depending on how everything fits in my Chevelle.
