Is this a good deal? I have the option to buy a 2001 Camaro Z28 (auto) with 16k miles thats been wrecked for $3200. Car was hit in front and side pretty hard but the drivetrain is unhurt. THe car is loaded with NICE black leather seats and a monsoon stereo. Hows the price sound? I'm thinking about putting the drivetrain, seats and rearend (if possible) in a 77 Camaro i have sitting around. Anyone here with experience putting the LS1 package in a 2nd gen? Maybe thinking about putting it in my 1972 Chevelle which currently has an LT1.

Yeah, i was thinking the same thing. Looking on ebay on car-parts.com, it looks like the LS1's and tranny alone are going for $4000. I'm getting a complete car for 3200. The frame is bent but can be pulled. I'm just buying the car for the drivetrain, seats, and rearend.
