LS1 chevelle headers Ok, so i finally found the headers to make the swap work without spending tons and tons of time. older sbc headers work with some minor adjustments to some tubes. I just made both sides in one day. (took about 13 hrs though) I will post pics as soon as I charge my camera.

I actually made some of my own tubes. pieced them together if you will. i will post pics of them as soon as i can that way everybody can see how it was done. it isnt hard. just time consuming and frustrating. it took a good sunday to do them.

alright, heres the link to some pics i just took. still in the finishing process but... the design and most of the work besides smoothing all the welds out is there. once i get them finished, they are going to be sent off and made professionally. so if any of you chevelle LS1 guys need a set. let me know. they will pretty much work with any mount there is out there.

yea they are about 500-700 bucks. little high for me. plus the motor mounts i used if you look at the pics wont clear those headers. I used ASA solid engine mounts. But the headers I made would clear pretty much any mount. The ASA mounts are the biggest yet.

Thats what I have heard. I was told hooker offers their own plates, but most people seem to use the S&P's and make it by. Thats going off hear say though. I have never seen everything in person.
